Rebecca Slusher is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois (License number: 180.008376) and has been serving the Logan Square area for over 10 years. She earned her Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Professional Psychology at Roosevelt University. Additional training includes specialized work in the areas of trauma, emotional regulation/emotional wellness, nutritional/mental health, chronic mental illness, developmental disorders, depression, and anxiety disorders.

Rebecca has over 15 years of experience in the mental health field with various populations. She works from a mindfulness based perspective, focusing on the intrinsic drive toward wholeness, health, and connectedness present in each client and each situation, rather than focusing on disorders or labeling problems and people. She provides a safe and non-judgmental space in which you can develop awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and actions. She works towards strengthening your ability to mindfully act in ways that are in line with your beliefs and building healthier ways of navigating the world.

Rebecca is an EMDR trained therapist and is currently only taking new clients for EMDR treatment. She has extensive experience in the field of trauma, life transitions, and communication difficulties, and specializes in working with individuals who are struggling with trauma, transition, depression, and anxiety.
