Bailey Kraft graduated from Purdue University with a Masters Degree in Child Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Illinois (license no. 166.001459) and Indiana (license no. 35002245A).
Bailey is a LGBTQ-affirmative therapist and has worked with a variety of clients, including children, adolescents, families, and couples. She utilizes a solution-focused approach with an emphasis on how our lives are affected by the many different intersectional aspects of ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Bailey seeks to connect with each client based on their individual needs and works collaboratively with her clients to promote change and growth.
Bailey’s passion is for working with those affected by trauma, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, she has an extensive background in couple’s issues such as communication, infidelity, and relationship transitions. Bailey has completed Gottman levels 1 and 2, in addition to being a certified PREPARE/ENRICH counselor. She believes in the importance of relationship maintenance whether you’re newly engaged, taking a big life step or simply needing a check-in after many years of togetherness.
When not working with her clients, Bailey enjoys cuddling her cats, keeping up with the latest shows on Netflix, and attempting to finish any one of the numerous crafts she has started and then promptly forgotten about.
