Jade Riedel holds a Master’s in Social Work and Women and Gender Studies at Loyola University Chicago.
Jade has clinical experience working with folks of varying neurotypes and cognitive abilities, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, OCD, and intellectual disabilities. They understand that intersectional identities impact how individuals experience life’s struggles and they work to help clients accept their uniqueness while working towards healing.
Jade is a queer and neurodiverse-affirming therapist who navigates the therapeutic space in a way that adapts to a client’s individual goals and needs. Jade believes that therapy should be a safe space to process emotions and to practice self-advocacy to set clients up for success in doing so outside of sessions. Jade uses a variety of interventions based on the client’s needs, including but not limited to, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness Practices.
In their free time, Jade can be found playing Nintendo Switch, painting, and spending time with their three cats.
